Ministry Opportunities

Our goal is to provide ministries designed to encourage and equip every member of your family.  There are ministry opportunities available for adults, young adults, teenagers and children.

Sunday School:

Our Sunday School classes are designed to educate you and your family about Christianity and what it means to be a Christian.  Biblical lessons are taught each Sunday morning at 9:45am.  We have classes for:
Preschool, Children, Youth & Pre-Teen and Adults

Children's Ministry:

Proverbs 22: "Train up a child n the way he should go; even when he is old he will depart from it".

We believe that children are our future.  Never has that been more evident that today.  With all the secular distractions and stresses on our children, the Church must strive to fulfill Proverbs 22.  Our Children's Ministry is designed and dedicated to provide activities that teach our children about God's plan of salvation.

Music Ministry:

Scripture teaches that we are to praise God.  If we do not, even the rocks and trees will cry out in praise.  We believe that singing praises to pur Lord is essential for worship and our music ministry exists for no other reason than that.  Whether it's singing in the choir, a solo performance, children's choir or the handbell choir, we would love to have you join us in praising our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Golden Agers:

The Golden Agers is a group of "Young at Heart" senior adults.  We meet the third Wednesday of each month for fellowship, meals and devotional time.  We also take trips to concerts, plays and visit interesting places in our community.  Come join us for a great time of Christian fellowship and fun.

WMU - Women's Missionary Union

The WMU is an organization focusing on educating and involving women and girls in missions.  At Blackberry we support several mission projects throughout the year.

Deacon Family Ministry:

Because we care for you and your family, the Pastor and Deacons of Blackberry are committed to the Deacon Family Ministry.  The resident church families are divided into groups and each group of families is then assigned a Deacon who will minister to them over a period of time.  Your Deacon is dedicated to assisting you and your family by visiting to you, witnessing to unsaved family members, rejoicing with you and your family when you celebrate important events, being your friend, giving support in times of crisis, helping you find ways to serve in and through the Church and praying for you and with you.
